This is my second Tyvek footprint for a MacPac Minaret tent.
Tyvek being Tyvek, it works OK as a groundsheet, but will undoubtedly (from experience) become tatty over time. The previous groundsheet made of Tyvek ripped very easily after developing frays from 4 uses — this is not the fault of anybody in particular, other than the nature of the material and its predicted short life. .To be sure though, it's a much cheaper and economical alternative than repairing a tent floor!!
I bought the Tyvek footprint, not too much to review, it’s a Tyvek rectangle as advertised. Nice a light and quite large. What was awesome was the customer service, it arrived in Perth 3 days after I ordered it. Amazing!
