Hilltop Packs
Hilltop Pack founder Ben McMillen has been into hiking his whole life but didn't start backpacking until 2015. Like many who get into backpacking, Ben became obsessed with gear and even started making his own just to be different. In 2019, he posted a photo of his custom-printed food bag with a bear printed on it to Facebook, Instagram, and Reddit, which caught everybody's attention.
The requests to make other custom food bags started pouring in from all around the world. An opportunity was born to give people what they wanted - gear that makes them stand out. Over that first year, Hilltop Packs assembled a small team of passionate gear makers in Waynesburg, PA, and got to work.
