Used a pair of these on a hike in Tasmania recently … while really nothing is truly “waterproof” down there, these come pretty close. They kept the liner socks i was wearing dryish for a lot longer than regular woolens and when the water inevitably got through (over full knee canvas gaiters & Scarpa boots) they kept really warm. Recommended.
