Yet to try, but as a qualified Microbiologist, ClO2 was a game changer. It works differently from chlorine tabs: highly biocidal and less affected by organic matter. Its more pleasant tasting than iodine, both effective against Giardia unlike Chlorine tabs. Unfortunately I've had Giardia a few times. Once in NZ. It can be carried by birds so even the most remote places are now affected. Who wants explosive diarrhea!?
Its more of a faff than the tablet. But I can't even taste it and its 33% faster acting in water than the tablet at 10min to mix + 10min in the water vs 30min in the case of the tablet.
Wow sure easy to use and exceptionally good at purifying water! I love this product will keep buying!
