Sea To Summit Airlite Towel

The S2S Airlite towel is what it says - it’s super light weight and folds up into a tiny ball that is half the size of my hand. It soaks up water and dries quickly. It is nowhere near as nice to use as the thicker and fluffier versions of travel towels, but it’s a fraction of the weight. I own various versions of travel towels and I use them all. This is the one I reach for when I am counting grams and trying to lighten my load or needing to keep my pack down to carry-on size only. The medium size is a good compromise of size and weight.

super small and light yet pretty absorbent little towel!

This towel replaces a medium s2s tek towel that weighs in at 200g! The airlight medium is a little smaller, but 47g. As good a towel? Probably not, but I will enjoy the weight savings instead.

I bought an XXS one. It weighs almost nothing and is a useful object to have around camp as a facecloth or tea towel. The hanging stud is a useful feature.

This little towel was great. Super light. Big enough and absorbent enough to soak up full drops of water off two ocean drenched men! They then air dried the rest of the way. It needed sunlight to dry out and stayed damp whilst in the shade, even hanging up. Washed well. Very handy and definitely does what you need it to do.
