Size Guide
- our pack size measurements refer to the length of the back panel from the highest point between the shoulder straps to the bottom of the panel when pulled taut.
- generally speaking the 16-17" torso length packs can be understood as a small and the 19" torso length packs as a medium/large.
- if you're ~5'8" and above, the 19" packs will generally fit well.
- if you're under ~5'8" the 16-17" packs tend to fit well.
- if you are on the shorter side but have a broader chest, the 19" pack may fit better because of the longer shoulder straps we use on the large packs.
- most people will prefer the 19" pack if using the hipbelt often so the hipbelt can be more in line with your hips.
- when worn hipbelt-less, we prefer the shoulder straps to be more cinched so the pack rides higher.
- if using the hipbelt, shoulder straps can be loosened a bit to sag the pack and transfer some weight to your hips.
