This stove is designed to use ethanol (C2H6O) as fuel, which burns clean with the best efficiency. Toaks finds the denatured alcohol CROWN Alcohol Stove Fuel works well and burn clean with this stove. Other denatured alcohol may be used but need userâs own careful experiment. If the denatured alcohol has higher heating value than Ethanol (C2H6O), it will cause the incomplete burn. So that one may see some smoke and charred surface of the pot.
