They have a heap of awesome ultralight stuff that no one else seems to have. They also offer great member discounts.
Product is fine, but buy it from Amazon for 30 bucks less. I needed this item quickly to filter drinking water literally to survive, it took so long that I not overpaid by $30 but I spent another $60 on bottled water. Absolutely hopeless.
I ordered on 7 Jan. Emailed them Jan 9 after I'd received no updates, got a reply Jan 10 (Saturday) saying "we’ll have your order dispatched to you over the weekend and ready to be shipped on Monday (Jan 12). Jan 13 I receive an email "Your shipment is on the way." Jan 14 I receive an email "Oopsies we lied about it being sent and also our stock levels, we don't have it" and offering two options. I reply within 30 minutes, hear nothing. Over two days on Jan 15 and 16 I call their number 22 times, no answer. I finally text something like "are you scam" and someone calls me back... apparently despite receiving all prior emails, suddenly they didn't receive the email two days ago (yeah right 🙄). PM of January 16 I get another set of "Your item has been sent" emails and finally the order arrives two days later.
I tried to support an aussie business instead of buying direct from Sawyer but it backfired and I got f***ed for it. Turns out this is just some dodgy fly by night operation that can't keep track of their stock or fulfill orders on time. Just buy it for 30 bucks less on Amazon and cut out the incompetence.
It just works. No problems. No fuss. And the gravity feed is so much easier to use than pumping. Works great with an extra cnoc bladder for storage.
Sorry I can't give a true review on this item, as I bought it for a gift for my Son for Xmas and haven't given it to him yet. What I can say is that it was packaged well for transport and it was delivered very quickly. It looks to be made of sturdy materials and I was very happy with my purchase.
Very high quality equipment and it arrived remarkably quickly. Even when the bladder was full of water and fell out of my pack onto the ground, it was completely fine and I expect it will last a very long time. Highly recommend.
