Incredibly durable and supportive, the Scarpa SL Active men's hiking boot is a classic leather hiking boot. Designed for extended treks, the SL Active can handle heavy loads and can be reliably waterproofed by waxing the leather, making them perfect for changeable Australian conditions.

The men's Scarpa SL Active boot sees the evolution of Scarpa's flagship, full-grain leather trekking boot, maintaining the classic look, durable support and incredible comfort of the original SL model, paired with a partial leather lining and Vibram® sole package that delievers lightweight comfort for any trail. 

The Scarpa SL Active is built on the latest TM last shape, giving an improved heel fit and closer fit across the forefoot. The redesigned upper uses a soft nubuck leather cuff with a cut-out at the achilles, plus a redesigned flex zone, giving greater comfort on long descents and ascents in the mountains. This boot is fully compatible with C1 walking crampons making it suitable for mountain walking. 

The revised speed lacing system gives a sure hold across the instep, and the plush leather lining inside the boot is instantly luxurious and comfortable. The SL Active uses 2.8mm Sherpa leather (the toughest and most water-resistant of any full grain leather that SCARPA uses) impregnated with HS12. It is built as a one piece construction for durable weather protection. It also has a Vibram® Biometric / XS Trek sole for traction and support when carrying a large pack. The combination leather and Cocona 37.5® fabric lining, plus lack of internal membrane, make this a brilliant boot for warm weather trekking.
