The Sawyer Cleaning Coupling is Sawyer's latest water filtration adapter that will allow you to backwash your Sawyer Micro or Squeeze Filter with a plastic bottle.
The Sawyer Cleaning Coupling offers an alternative way to clean your Sawyer filter. To clean your filter with the Cleaning Coupling, remove the push-pull cap from your filter, attach the Coupling, then screw the other side of the Coupling onto a bottle filled with clean, filtered water. Once attached, you can forcefully squeeze the bottle to backwash and clean your filter.
It's a great tool in making a gravity filtering kit with Vectos, water bottles or other collapsible containers too.
Suitable for:
**NOTE** This coupling only works with 28mm threads. This will not work with a BeFree filter or our 42mm Vecto.
Fits the most common Aussie water bottles, is way smaller than the syringe (and weighs less), yet performs better! 10/10.
Works very well for using a bottle to backflush.
Also works well to filter straight into a bottle while hanging from the cnoc too!
