In 2011 Ombraz Cofounder, Jensen, was on a camel safari in India when, *snap, someone sat on his sunglasses and the sidearms broke off. Sunburned and squinty, Jensen tied a piece of twine to the broken hinges and wrapped the twine around the back of his head.
Jensen replaced the twine with a leather cord and wore the MacGyvered pair for 5 years. So many people inquired about the unique design that it sparked a business idea that would lead to the most practical, problem-solving sunglasses in the industry. The rest is history!
