Petzl Swift RL 1100 Lumen Headlamp

Purchased the headlamp charged it didn't last 2 hours thus company is rubbish asked me to send it to petzl for Warranty not even a week old didn't even offer to replace it never buy or recommend any one buy from them poor disgusting service minus 100 stars

I used two of these night hiking/trail running most nights this past winter. It provides plenty of light and illuminates the trail better than anything else I've used. Really broad beam, too. The battery life is pretty spot on. Fits well, stays snug with zero bounce even over a beanie. Easy to adjust while moving. Easy to swap out the battery by touch.

Two things to be aware of, though. Firstly, on the reactive lighting mode, it dims when condensation from exhaling clouds the distance sensor. Not an issue when walking, only at a quicker pace, and can be solved by just using the standard mode.

Secondly, when the battery gets low, the light 'blinks' off for just a little too long, approx half a second. Again, not an issue at walking pace, but when you have the pace up doing something moderately technical, it's something to keep track of.

Arrived within a few days of ordering & the headlamps are fantastic. Very happy with the quality & they are very comfortable to wear. The kids & I are looking forward to using them on our upcoming camping trip in the Kimberlys.

This is the second light I've brought, first was from another company,but very satisfied with it,so this one was for my wife.
